Pacekids is a dynamic, active environment, specializing in family-centred, therapeutic learning objectives that nurture each child’s unique developmental and physical needs through a variety of programs.
Our personalized, tailored 1:1 aide services are available both in-home and at-centre for Developmental, Behavioural, Specialized Services, Family support and Early Childhood/Speech and Language Enhancement Classes.
Our classes are small, inclusive and FUN! We offer highly trained aides to work with your child 1:1, and support them with very qualified and experienced supervisors and therapists in the disciplines of Speech, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy. As well as supporting your child, we provide strategies, skills and information to you and your family that will help you successfully meet every-day challenges, and help transition your child through to the next stages of needs and development.

A program for children aged four months to 2 ½ years.
Early intervention is key to helping children reach their full potential. The family support program is an F.S.C.D. (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) funded program. Pacekids’ Early Childhood Services (ECS) Program follows the standards set by Alberta Education. Pacekids is an approved designated site for ECS status for Program Unit Funding (PUF) from Alberta Education. Pacekids currently offers two separate ECS programs. The Multidisciplinary ECS Program: a multidisciplinary approach for children with needs in several areas of development and the Speech and Language Enhancement Program (SLE): specifically for children who primarily have speech and language difficulties. A program which is specific to parents of children 12 years or younger with a developmental disability.
The Stepping Stones Triple P program aims to teach parents how to use Positive Parenting strategies to develop a positive relationship with their child, encourage appropriate behavior, teach their child new skills, manage misbehavior and implement planned activities routines for high-risk parenting situations. With the support of the Practitioner, parents set their own goals and decide which parenting strategies to implement based upon their values and needs of the child and family. More…
