About Pacekids

Pacekids Programs for Children with Motor Disabilities Society is a registered, non-profit, charitable organization run by a volunteer Board that consists of parents of children in the programs as well as other community members.
Originally called P.A.C.E. Rehabilitation Program for children with motor disabilities, we started with six children in October 1994 with the support of various philanthropic organizations.

Pacekids' services and support have stretched far beyond those original six children. In 2005, we served 95 children and their families, in addition to operating a number of summer camps. Today we have a Private ECS Operator Licence from Alberta Education, and continue to offer the only Family Support program for infants in Calgary through funding from Calgary and Area Child and Family Services, emphasizing the importance of the special needs child and the family unit. We additionally offer one-on-one aide support to all children enrolled in our programs.
