Information is one of the most important elements of support that Pacekids can offer the parents and families of a motor-skill-challenged child. For the parents of children in our programs, this means keeping abreast of current Pacekids' activities. For parents of a newly diagnosed child, this is a path to the services and additional information during a potentially overwhelming time.

A parent handbook has been prepared to provide in-depth information about the centre's programs, as well as tips for working with your child's development at home.

Handbooks are available at the Pacekids' facility.

Four times each year Pacekids publishes a newsletter for parents called Keeping Pace. Current and past copies are available at the Pacekids' facility. To view a current copy click here. January to April 2011

Pacekids' Toy Lending Library is available to all Aides and there is a Resource Library available for Parents. Below are our catalogues, organized into categories for your reference. - The AADL program helps those with a long-term disability by providing financial assistance to buy medical equipment and supplies.

- Children's Link provides information and support links to families, communities, agencies and professionals in Western Canada for children and young adults with special needs.
